This web site was first established in 1996 by Linda Marie Pharaoh Carlson. It is a showcase for writers, both beginners and well seasoned alike, with which to publish their work. We have grown through the years, as have our writers.Several have gone on to publish their own books, and others have written for prestigious ezines, online publications, and book anthologies such as the Chicken Soup For the Soul series of books. Her goal in establishing this site was to help encourage writers of any age, and at any stage, in their craft.
Whether you are a beginner or have multiple writing triumphs under your belt, this is the place for your work to be read and appreciated by a wide audience. For the third consecutive year, our editor and chief will have a poem featured in Lyrical Iowa, the yearly anthology that is published by the Iowa Poetry Association. A prestigious honor in light of the thousands of entries submitted each year. 'Lyrical Iowa' is available through the Iowa Poetry Association. Look for her poem, A Faery Friendly Night, in this years edition.
